April 20 was definitely a busy day for Mexican telenovela
stars. In addition to other celebrations that were held that day, it was also
the big day for Ludwika Paleta and Emiliano Salinas, who tied the knot in Tekit
del Regil ranch in Mérida, Yucatán.
A day before the wedding, Paleta, her son Nicolás (13, from
actor Plutarco Haza) and then fiancée Salinas arrived in a private jet to
Mérida. Ludwika and Emiliano, son of former Mexican president Carlos Salinas de
Gortari, met each other in 2010 during a blind date that was organized by
actress Maki Soler, wife of actor Juan Soler.
During the wedding, Paleta dedicated loving word to her new
husband: “Thank you for your love. I can’t believe that I’m so happy!”
Among the 800 guests that attended this star studded event
were Marimar and Zuria Vega, Anahí, Manuel Velasco, Érick Elías, Claudia
Álvarez, Billy Rovzar, Adamari López, Nailea Norvind, Yadhira Carrillo and Ana
de la Reguera. The president of Mexico Enrique Peña Nieto came accompanied by
wife Angélica Rivera.
There was strict security (about 400 security guards) in
order to prevent any problems and to protect the guests. In spite that the
couple had asked their guests not to bring any cellphones in order to keep
complete confidentiality, photos of various stars that attended the wedding
were uploaded to social networks like twitter.
