'Prohibido amar', starring Rossana Nájera and Marco de Paula, starts filming

Love, intrigue, greed, desire and big secrets set the course of 'Prohibido Amar', the new telenovela of TV Azteca, which will be starred by Rossana Nájera in her second protagonic role and Spanish beau Marco de Paula, who recently acted in ‘Rosa Diamante’.

This will be a free version of the 1995 Colombian series 'La Sombra del Deseo', starring Amparo Grisales and Omar Fierro, and will develop within a textile emporium called 'Consortium Aguilera'.

The story focuses on Gabriela Ramirez (Nájera), a successful fashion designer who is criticized for the unethical way in which she achieved her goals. She falls for Rafael Hernández (De Paula), a distinguished executive that despite being faithful and loving to his family, he is not happy with his wife.

Their desire to be together will not only be hindered by the spouse of Rafael, but also by the fact that Gabriela was the wife of Rafael’s father Ignacio Aguilera (Fernando Ciangherotti), who recently passed away.

Ari Telch, Eduardo Arroyuelo, María José Magán, Iliana Fox, Andrea Martí, Sandra Quiroz, Hernán Mendoza, Fabián Corres, Emilio Guerrero, Juan Martín Jáuregui and Claudia Lobo, among others, will be part of the cast.
