William Levy denies romance rumors with Ximena Navarrete
12:01 PMUnknown
The Cuban actor William Levy assured that he doesn’t care
about the rumors of a possible romance between him and his co-star in ‘La
Tempestad’, Ximena Navarrete.
Levy said his relationship with his family is very close
despite all the gossip, and that his free time is dedicated entirely to his
wife and children, as he enjoys his role as a husband and father. In addition, he declared that he identifies with his character,
Captain Damian Fabre, as he is also a loving and caring father.
William took the opportunity to point out that although
things are going well in his marriage, he won’t talk in depth about the issue
in order to avoid potential speculations about separations and other topics. He
added that his wife Elizabeth Gutierrez knows the media and what goes around:
"She is a great woman, wife and mother. She has it all."
When he finishes filming for ‘La Tempestad’, Levy plans to return
to the U.S. to further advance his film career. He also assured that he has

Will 'La tempestad' end a month earlier? Levy and Navarrete talk about the criticism they received
2:02 PMUnknown
Because of its low ratings,
sources from the production of Televisa’s primetime novela 'La tempestad'
revealed that it will probably end airing in November, a month earlier than
what was planned. The series was suffering from low ratings since it began
airing in May, and it seems that the latest changes that were made to the
storyline, which included finally removing William Levy’s long extensions and adding
Mariana Seoane to the cast as a mysterious and sexy dancer and singer didn’t
help very much to save the sinking ship. Moreover, the telenovela has also been
losing some of its advertisers because of the low audience numbers.
Meanwhile, the stars of 'La
tempestad' William Levy and Ximena Navarrete have been promoting the show in
the U.S, where the novela will begin airing through Univision On July 29,
replacing “Amores Verdaderos”.
Levy commented on the
makeover that he underwent: “Captain Damián Fabré is a character. I don’t work
to look good, so to be honest I don’t care if they make me go bald or whatever,
I play a role and I have to adapt to my characters, so I’m sorry of many don’t
like it.”
His costar Ximena Navarrete
spoke about the criticism that she received: “All the comments and the
criticism are appreciated because it means that people are informed about what
we do and that’s what we want: for people to watch the telenovela and to be
informed about our work. So I appreciate with all my heart any negative or
positive comments because they help to learn. Besides, I understand that I’m
exposed to all this because of my work. It’s the career that I chose, so I have
to learn to live with this because people will always talk, criticize,
sometimes will say good things or bad things. Everything is ok. We are focused
on our work, it’s what matters most.”

William Levy gives his mom a beautiful house in Miami as a present
10:47 AMUnknown
Cuban actor William Levy recently expressed his love and appreciation for his family by buying his mom and siblings a luxurious house in Miami. After helping his mom, Mrs. Barbara, to retire in 2010, he and wife Elizabeth Gutierrez decided to buy her and his siblings Barbara and Jonathan a house at the exclusive area of Hialeah Gardens, which is located about 20 minutes away from Miami and not very far from the residence where Levy and Gutierrez live.
The property, which is valued at approximately 197 thousand dollars, is registered by the names of both actors, who signed the papers as co-owners. The 2 story house was built in 1993, and it has 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a double garage.
Meanwhile, Mrs. Barbara seems to be very happy with her new home, and she has been painting and decorating the spaces of the house. Busy with the filming of his telenovela “La Tormenta”, Levy will have one more place to call home when he visits his family during his breaks.

William Levy takes a break from "La Tempestad" in order to reconstruct his character
1:52 PMUnknown
It’s been more than a week since Cuban actor William Levy has
appeared in "La Tempestad", the telenovela starred by him and Ximena
Navarrete. The last scene in which he was seen was the scene where his
character Damián Fabré and wife Esthercita (Laura Carmine) suffer a mysterious
boat accident, caused by villain Hernán (Iván
Sánchez).
The prolonged absence made many fans worried, but it is said
that it was planned in order to reconstruct the entire storyline and the
character. As the ratings of the novela aren’t doing very well, especially
after the big success of its predecessor “Amores Verdaderos”, it is said that
the production is planning to make some changes to help the telenovela become
more popular and gain acceptance from the public.
Do you think the changes bring in more viewers in the new phase of the telenovela?

Navarrete will handle her first ever acting role. Although the ex-miss universe
