Sad news for the fans of the most famous young couple of
Brazil. According to their friends, soccer player Neymar and young actress Bruna
Marquezine broke up once again, months after getting back together from their
last split.
The couple first got together in late 2012. Bruna’s agency
confirmed they broke up in February this year, when Bruna’s novela “Em Familia”
began airing in Brazil. They even unfollowed each other on their social network
accounts. But a few months later rumors had it that the couple was getting back
together, and it turned out that they were right when they were seen together
in a party held by the director Jayme Monjardim. Later, Bruna was seen
supporting Neymar during the Brazil world cup. Although busy with her novela
shooting, she attended the Brazilian national team matches whenever she could.
After the conclusion of the world cup, Bruna and Neymar were
spotted on several dates in Brazil and were seen leaving for Barcelona together
on July 24. Bruna was even photographed on a yacht in Ibiza a day later. Fans
were surprised to see that she returned to Brazil on July 27, just three days
after departing, and with a luggage of five suitcases.
According to friends of the famous couple, their
relationship ended once more. They revealed that Neymar broke up with Bruna when
they were in Ibiza, and that’s why she came back so soon to Brazil. They added
that Bruna didn’t get along with Neymar’s best friends. This information hasn’t
been confirmed by the official representatives of Bruna or Neymar.
After her return to Brazil, Bruna was seen hanging out with
friends, while Neymar was spotted partying in Ibiza.
On August 4, Neymar congratulated Bruna for her 19th
birthday and wrote: “Congratulations Bru, I wish you all the best in life, and
that you will be able to realize all your dreams and that God will always guide
you!!! Kisses! Love you @brumarquezine”. He added an old photo of them
together.
Bruna responded shortly after and wrote: “Thanks! You know I
wish you all of this triplicated. Love you.”

Globo's miniseries ‘O Canto da Sereia’ to be aired in Australia
4:37 PMUnknown
The super production ‘O Canto da Sereia’, which Globo is
taking to LA Screenings 2014, promises to enchant Australians with its climate
of mysticism, sensuality, and suspense. The miniseries has just had its
exhibition rights acquired by one of Australia’s largest broadcast channels,
SBS (Special Broadcasting Service). The Australian channel reaches more than 6
million people and its programming offers a mix of programs with news,
entertainment, sports, and national and foreign productions. ‘O Canto da Sereia’
will be aired with English subtitles.
‘O Canto da Sereia’ was an audience success in Brazil. The
story beat its predecessors in its timeslot and reached an average of 23 rating
points with 50% of the share (Source: Ibope), the equivalent of around 20 million
people per minute watching each episode. The show repeated its success in
Portugal, where it was shown on Globo’s channel.
The miniseries, which is one of the new items in the
Brazilian broadcaster’s catalog, tells the story of Siren (Ísis Valverde, ‘Avenida
Brasil’), considered the queen of pop music, in whose world fame and wealth are
intertwined with feelings of envy and hate. Her murder in the middle of
Carnival shocks the country and the hunt for the criminal reveals a new suspect
every day.
Based on the novel “O Canto da Sereia – Um Noir Baiano”, by
Nelson Motta, the miniseries is a thriller set in Salvador, in the northeast of
Brazil. Sereia’s murder takes place early in the first episode and the story is
unveiled in flashback scenes. The further the investigations advance, the more
the public learns about the protagonist’s true personality and her many
enigmas.
‘O Canto da Sereia’ is a contemporary miniseries that has
big-name actors in its cast such as 2013 International Emmy nominee for Best
Actor, Marcos Palmeira, Gabriel Braga Nunes, Camila Morgado and Marcos Caruso.

Brazilian actress Bruna Marquezine, who rose to fame after
beginning a romance with Neymar in the end of 2012, confirmed that she and the
soccer player decided to end their relationship. The couple, who had a cotton
candy relationship and constantly updated fans with their romantic photos and
love declarations, faced many problems in their relationship, especially after
Neymar moved to play in Barcelona while Bruna remained in Brazil. It was also
said that Bruna’s mother Neide was strongly against their relationship, fearing
her daughter will be hurt.
In spite of rumors that Neymar was being unfaithful several
times, inviting some Brazilian girls to come all the way to Spain at his
expense, and that Bruna also had a fling with fellow actor Arthur Aguiar, whom
she met on the set of “Em Família” (who also ended longtime relationship with
actress Giovanna Lancellotti shortly afterwards), Marquezine and Neymar both
affirmed that they were still together and Neymar even flew over to Austria
while Bruna was filming her novela there.
After Bruna confirmed that she is single again, she deleted
her photos with Neymar from her Instagram. It was also said that she’s having a
hard time in the set of “Em Família”, where she plays Luíza. It was reported
that she couldn’t stop crying the day the breakup was revealed, while the staff
was having a hard time to calm her down.

The 9pm Brazilian novela Amor à Vida ended yesterday after
221 episodes, being one of the longest Brazilian novelas that were aired in
recent years. Its predecessors in the same timeslot ‘Salve Jorge’ and ‘Avenida
Brasil’ had each 179 episodes.
Even though the last few months of the novela were exhaustive
to watch because of the repeated/crazy scenes and storylines, the last episode was
amazing overall. Although some of the scenes reminded previous endings of
telenovelas, many of the scenes in this one were innovative and very refreshing
to watch. So let’s begin this recap…

Brazilian actress Isis Valverde suffered a car accident
during the early morning of this Friday, January 31. It took place close to the
actress’ house, in Itanhangá. Valverde’s cousin Mayara was the driver, while
Isis was sleeping in the car. They were accompanied by the producer Gabriel
Maciel. When Mayara lost control over the vehicle, she hit an embankment and
the car overturned. Photos of the wrecked car were released.
Maciel, who was in the car during the accident, said: “It
was very fast. We were shocked. She was mildly injured near the neck because of
the seat belt”. He also said that after the accident, Isis went home in a cab,
and that he later took her to the hospital. He added that Isis didn’t complain
about the pain, and didn’t even want to go to the hospital.
She reportedly suffered a fracture in her C1 vertebra and is
currently resting in the hospital. She’ll also have to use a cervical collar
during ten days.
Her last appearance on TV was in the successful series
‘Amores roubados’. Meanwhile, she might become the protagonist of the future
6pm novela of Globo, ‘Saber viver’.

The upcoming 9pm Brazilian novela "Em Família", written by Manoel Carlos, will premiere very soon, on February 3, and the first official teasers are out.
They are mostly focused on the second phase of the novela, which will have three phases, and show the problematic relationship between Helena, Virgílio and Laerte, played by Bruna Marquezine, Fernando Rodrigues and Guilherme Leicam, respectively.
The three have known each other since they were children. Although Helena and Laerte became a couple, he was always jealous of her relationship with Virgílio. His uncontrolled rage towards his opponent led him to committing a crime, and eventually losing Helena at the day of their wedding.

Grazi Massafera, Cauã Reymond and Isis Valverde: everything about their big scandal
4:17 AMUnknown
Sometimes life imitates art and the big scandals and love
triangles that happen in the novelas are seen in an even larger scale in real
life. Such was the scandal that shook Brazil during the end of last year, and
which involved Grazi Massafera, Cauã Reymond and Isis Valverde, three of the hottest
Brazilian stars.
Although rumors of a possible separation of Grazi Massafera
and Cauã Reymond began circulating at the beginning of 2013, it seems that the
scandal with Isis was the last straw in the famous relationship. Cauã Reymond
and Isis Valverde worked together as the protagonists of the miniseries “Amores
roubados”, and had to travel to the Brazilian northeast to film the series
during last summer. It was revealed that they supposedly began an affair during
this time, and were seen leaving production parties together, and spending time
one with another.
