After finishing filming her successful novela ‘Solamente Vos’, Uruguayan star Natalia Oreiro made a surprising musical comeback and opened her east European tour, where she performed some of biggest hits in various cities in Poland and Russia.

The actress and singer surprised the audience during her Moscow concert, when her cute little son Merlín Atahualpa went up on stage with his famous mom, carrying a little toy guitar and wearing a cute Russia-style hat. The thrilled Oreiro played with adorable her son, who walked shyly on the stage, and presented him to the thousands of fans that came to watch her concert and shouted his name. Oreiro rose to international fame thanks to the huge success of her 1999 novela 'Muñeca Brava'.

In a recent interview, Natalia Oreiro, the protagonist of the hit series "Solamente Vos", revealed what she did to recover her model-like figure after giving birth to her son Merlin, who is 17 months old. "I decided to cut out flour and sweet", said the Uruguayan, who claims to have never gone under the knife.

"During my pregnancy I gained almost 30 kilos. I exaggerated, didn’t watch out and ate too much," declared Oreiro to ‘Caras’ magazine.

The Uruguayan actress revealed what she did to recover her perfect body after the birth of her son. "Two months after giving birth I had to go to Cannes, so I stopped eating foods with flour and sweets for a month, and lost weight," said the star of "Solamente Vos".

Oreiro also declared that she avoided any kind of plastic surgeries: “I don’t operate my boobs because I’m still breastfeeding Merlin. I only had surgery for appendicitis and a cesarean section. I didn’t go under the knife for cosmetic purposes.”

Natalia Oreiro and Facundo Arana recently reunited to film a supportive commercial spot for the ‘Sí’ foundation in Argentina, which helps homeless people who suffer from the harsh weather on the streets. Arana and Oreiro have always been very solidary with the less fortunate and didn’t hesitate to film this ad in order to raise awareness to the issue. The volunteers of the ‘Sí’ foundation help people on the streets by bringing them hot meals and clothing, and by helping them to reintegrate in society.  

Both stars are good friends and acted in the very popular Argentine novelas ‘Muñeca Brava’ in 1999 and ‘Sos mi vida’ in 2006. Without a doubt, their presence will help raise awareness and gather more volunteers. “We are sure that it’s possible to transform reality. In order to achieve it, it is very important for you too to say ‘Yes’.”

Thousands of people gathered in front of Buenos Aires’ planetarium during the musical festival that was held there on April 7^th in order to support the victims of the floods in Rio de La Plata. Many famous Argentinian rock bands played during this important event, and among them was Divididos, the group of Ricardo Mollo, who is Natalia Oreiro’s husband of more than ten years.

Natalia and son Merlín Atahualpa (1) accompanied Mollo during the festival. As Mollo was singing and playing the guitar, the little Merlín escaped from his mother’s arms and got up on stage. At the end of the event, about 28 tons of donations were collected. Oreiro is currently playing Aurora in the super successful series ‘Solamente Vos’.
