Sometimes life imitates art and the big scandals and love triangles that happen in the novelas are seen in an even larger scale in real life. Such was the scandal that shook Brazil during the end of last year, and which involved Grazi Massafera, Cauã Reymond and Isis Valverde, three of the hottest Brazilian stars.

Although rumors of a possible separation of Grazi Massafera and Cauã Reymond began circulating at the beginning of 2013, it seems that the scandal with Isis was the last straw in the famous relationship. Cauã Reymond and Isis Valverde worked together as the protagonists of the miniseries “Amores roubados”, and had to travel to the Brazilian northeast to film the series during last summer. It was revealed that they supposedly began an affair during this time, and were seen leaving production parties together, and spending time one with another.

June 12th was an excellent excuse for all Brazilians to share their love with the world and with their fans, as it was the famous ‘Dia dos Namorados’, or day of the boyfriends/girlfriends. Many of our favorite actors and actresses dedicated photos, poems and romantic words to their loved ones via their social network accounts.

After rumors of crisis in the relationship of Grazi Massafera and Cauã Reymond, Grazi posted a photo of them together, stating: “A day filled with love for everybody”:

Rômulo Neto also posted a photo of girlfriend Cleo Pires, who is currently in Paris, and wrote: “My companion, my love… I miss you so much; my heart aches because we’re so far away from each other. Kisses. I love you a lot!”

Tom Rezende, boyfriend of actress Isis Valverde, wrote: “Love is the most beautiful thing you can have… My friend, confident, my love! I love you so much!”

Footballer Neymar and girlfriend Bruna Marquezine posted photos of each other.

Neymar quoted a song by Jorge e Mateus to express his feelings for the actress: “Peace and love, it’s what I want for us, and for nothing in this world to silence our voice, sky and sea and someone to love, the shiver every time we meet @brumarquezine. Happy Dia dos Namorados."

Bruna Marquezine quoted a song by Thiaguinho: “And you come, making me feel so good. You make me so happy… I love you! A lot of love for us both @njunior11. Happy Dia dos Namorados."

Beautiful Brazilian actress Grazi Massafera is finally back on the small screens with her new telenovela ‘Flor do Caribe’, which premiered last month on Globo’s 6pm slot, after a relatively short maternity leave that she took after giving birth to her firstborn Sofia in May 2012.

Unlike her romantic character Ester, Grazi defines herself as a practical person: “I was always more down to earth. The leading ladies of the telenovelas, and mainly those that air on 6pm, are dramatic. The situations are quite edgy. It’s a challenge to reproduce such feelings, because I usually don’t experience such situations. I’m very practical.”

While her character in the telenovela faces turbulent situations, Grazi herself enjoys the calmness of her home and family life with husband Cauã Reymond and 10 month old daughter Sofia. She talked about her and how maternity changed her routine: “I have a baby that is filled with energy waiting for me at home at the end of each intense working day. I always arrive home very tired and can't do nothing more in life other than dedicating myself to the telenovela, to Sofia and to my husband.”

 “My pregnancy was very desired and planned. Therefore, when Sofia came, she only added and brought us light. She improved everything in our marriage. It’s amazing how she is only 10 months old and can change so many things. My zodiac sign is cancer and I’ve always had a maternal instinct. But after becoming a mother, everything gains a different proportion. It’s important to have a better maturity level in order to deal with the situations.”
