stars and produced a spectacular summer photoshoot where they revealed their amazing
shape and shared their thoughts about the hottest season of the year. Among the stars that participated in the
photoshoot were Carmen Villalobos, Fernanda Castillo, Liz Vega, Pedro Moreno, Alicia
Machado, Gabriel Coronel, Scarlet Ortiz, Mauricio Mejía, Julián Gil, Mariana
Seoane, Gabriel Valenzuela, Elizabeth Gutiérrez, Shalim Ortiz, Jason Canela,
Carolina Tejera, Mane de la Parra and María Elena Dávila.
Actress Maritza Rodríguez
gave birth to her twin baby boys Akiva and Yehuda on Sunday night in Miami. They
are the first babies of Rodríguez and husband Joshua Mintz, the executive vice president
of scripted programming and general manager of Telemundo studios.
Although they were born a month
earlier than planned, as Maritza’s due date was only in the middle of May, they
are perfectly healthy. Rodríguez expressed her happiness in a recent interview:
“I can’t explain the happiness I’m feeling. It’s indescribable. They’re the most beautiful
babies I’ve ever seen.”
After becoming a mother for
the first time, Maritza will take a break from her busy schedule as an actress to
dedicate her time to her family. Prior to giving birth she revealed that she’s
been taking some time for herself, doing what she loves: reading books,
swimming and learning Kabbalah. Her last role was the crazy Teresa Cristina
Palmer in ‘Marido en alquiler’.
Colombian channel RCN is reportedly planning a remake of the
Mexican novela 'La madrastra', which may be starred by Mexican actress Itatí
Cantoral. Although many details are still unconfirmed, it was revealed that it
will be titled 'Quién mató a Patricia Soler'.
Itatí Cantoral was involved in controversy a few months ago
when she had to leave the filming of the series about the life of singer Jenni
Rivera. Her last series was ‘El Sexo Débil’ in 2011, where she played Helena.
Meanwhile, ‘La Madrastra’ was the fourth remake of the
production of the same name, and was aired in 2005 in Mexico, starring Victoria
Ruffo and César Évora.
The gorgeous Colombian actress Paola Rey, well remembered
for her leading roles in such novelas as ‘Pobres Rico’ and ‘Pasión de gavilanes’,
recently gave birth to her firstborn, a cute little baby boy whom she and
husband, actor Juan Carlos Vargas, named Oliver. The baby was born four months
ago, after three years of marriage. The couple met on the set of the Colombian remake
of ‘Montecristo’.
Paola presented her son exclusively via the Colombian ALÓ
magazine, evidencing that she’s currently living her sweetest moment. She also
spoke about how she spent her pregnancy and about giving birth: “It was
incredible giving birth, it was a magical moment. This was a magical time in my
life. I never stopped exercising and eating healthily. It was a great
pregnancy. I kept doing Pilates until the day before I gave birth.”
