José Ron and Ariadne Díaz brake up: a year of romance in photos

Sad news for fans of the couple José Ron and Ariadne Díaz,
who reportedly recently broke up after one year. A source that is close to the
couple revealed that they ended the relationship on December 24, because they
realized that it wasn’t working: “During the last months they’ve been very
unstable. They were fighting, braking up and then making up. Then, after a
while they were fighting again.”
The source also revealed that Ariadne was even thinking
about marrying Ron: “She is very much in love, but I know them both and that
their relationship is worn out, and it was better to end it, because they were
hurting each other with so many fights.”
These news are shocking to the loyal fans of the couple,
that began their relationship while starring together 'La mujer del vendaval'
last year. It was reported a few months ago that they were planning to move in
together in the beginning of the year, and fans were certainly dreaming of a
fairytale novela-style wedding for their favorite couple.
Maybe the last words haven’t been said in this relationship.

José Ron confirms the cancellation of 'Madre sustituta’

Disappointing news for the fans of Mexican actor José Ron:
after rumors came out earlier this month, it was confirmed that the telenovela 'Madre
sustituta' will eventually be cancelled. The production was supposed to
premiere in 2013, starring Ron and Esmeralda Pimentel and produced by Giselle
González.
Supposedly, it was decided by the Televisa executives that
the novela is too intense for the hour on which it was supposed to air. The actor
said: “it was cancelled. It was because of the storyline of the novela, but I’m
relaxed and thankful to Giselle for choosing me. At the moment I’ll be studying. I will wait for the right time to work with her.”
'Madre sustituta' was supposed to tell the story of a woman
who faces economic problems and who takes care of her ill father. To earn
money, she becomes a surrogate mother, but later she regrets the decision, not
wanting to give away her baby.
Meanwhile, Ron also confirmed that he’ll be leaving 'Perfume
de Gardenia'. He recently announced that he’ll be moving in together with
girlfriend Ariadne Díaz.
José Ron recently revealed that he and girlfriend, actress Ariadne
Díaz, with whom he starred “La Mujer Del Vendaval”, decided to take a major
step in their relationship: moving in together.
The couple first confirmed their blooming romance this past January,
after sharing photos from their romantic trip to Europe. In addition to the
telenovela, they also acted together in “Perfume de Gardenia”.
At the end of September Ariadne decided to go to Boston in
order to improve her English skills. It seems that the distance was just what
the couple needed in order to take the next step in their relationship.
Ron revealed in an interview: “We took a major decision as a
couple. It’s not a baby or anything like that, nor a wedding. We’re going to
move in together.”
He added: “I think it’s the right moment. We discussed it a
lot. She was here this weekend and we spoke about it. The distance helped us
and we decided it. I think it’s going to be a big step and something very
positive for us both”.
The happy couple is planning to move in together at the
beginning of 2014.
Lately strong rumors indicate that the new project of
Mexican producer Giselle González, 'Madre sustituta', might be eventually
cancelled following a decision taken by the Televisa executives. Although just
a few days ago Esmeralda Pimentel and José Ron were confirmed as the stars of
the upcoming series, and auditions have started for other roles, it’s still not
confirmed that production will start.
It is still uncertain whether the novela will be produced,
cancelled or postponed, and there haven’t been any official statement regarding
this issue from the production or the cast.

Marjorie de Sousa to become the new star of 'Perfume de Gardenia'

After portraying Kendra Ferreti in the very popular 'Amores
Verdaderos', it seems that Marjorie de Sousa is ready to move on and will soon face
the challenge of becoming the leading actress of the Mexican play 'Perfume de Gardenia', previously made famous
by Aracely Arámbula and Sebastián Rulli, who portrayed the two main characters.
Although Rulli will return to his role, his girlfriend Aracely will not, and
will be replaced by de Sousa, Rulli’s costar in 'Amores Verdaderos'.
De Sousa is definitely enjoying a lot of popularity in
Mexico following her latest novela role. José Ron will also be joining to
portray one of the main characters, after finishing the filming of his latest novela
'La Mujer del Vendaval'.
The renewed play will premiere in June. Other actors who
will participate in this production, produced by Omar Suárez, are Mariana
Seoane and Julio Camejo.
Seoane, who was involved in a scandal related to her
participation in the play a few months ago, shared her opinion regarding
Marjorie’s casting, and said that she thought that a more acclaimed actress in Mexico
would be chosen. Nevertheless, she said: “But I never said that she can’t do it
or that she doesn’t have the talent for it. She’s gorgeous, she will do very
well, she dances well, and I think she has the characteristics that ‘Gardenia’
needs to have.”
