Erick Elías to headline "Pasión de amor" alongside Danna García?

Mexican actor Erick Elías was recently confirmed as the protagonist of the upcoming Televisa novela by producer Roberto Gómez Fernández, "Pasión de amor". Elías’ last novela was last year’s "Porque el amor manda", where he played the villain.

It was also reported that Danna García may become the leading actress of this telenovela, but her participation is still uncertain.

Gómez Fernández revealed that unlike many other novelas, this will be an original story written by Cuauhtémoc Blanco. Francisco Franco and Juan Pablo Blanco will direct.

Currently the auditions to determine the cast continue, and the cast will soon be revealed.
