TV Azteca has revealed that they’ll be producing a remake of
the successful Chilean comedic series ‘Las Vegas’, which focuses on male
strippers. It tells the story of a woman that has three grownup daughters, that
suddenly loses everything, but she and her daughters find love in the most
unexpected way.
It will be produced in the first trimester of 2013, and will
be titled ‘Las Bravo’.
Although the cast in not confirmed yet, many candidates for
the main roles in this novela were revealed. While Edith González might be the leading actress,
Mauricio Islas or Ramiro Fumazoni might play the main masculine character. Both
actors were the protagonists alongside Edith in her latest novelas ‘Vivir a
destiempo’ and ‘Cielo rojo’.
María Fernanda
Quiroz, Carla Carrillo, Carolina Miranda, Paullette Hernández, Alejandra
Lazcano, María José Magán, Miri Higareda and Mariana Torres are among the
actresses that might be chosen to interpret the 3 daughters of the female protagonist.
In addition, Héctor Soberón, Pedro Sicard, Erik Chapa, Jorge
Luis Vázquez, Alberto Guerra, Héctor Arredondo, Lambda García may also
participate in this production.
