Cristián de la Fuente: Silvia Navarro is one of the best actresses in Mexico

In spite of her incredible performance in the 2012 telenovela ‘Amor Bravío’, Silvia Navarro wasn’t nominated as best leading actress in the 2013 TVyNovelas awards. Her costar in the novela Cristián de la Fuente spoke against the decision to not nominate Navarro and said that although he doesn’t know the reason why she wasn’t nominated, for him she’s always going to be one of the best Mexican actresses.

De la Fuente might reunite again with producer Carlos Moreno in his upcoming series, which will be a remake of the series ‘Imperio de Cristal’. Both have been in talks regarding the Chilean actor’s participation in the upcoming telenovela, but the final decision hasn’t been taken yet. He said: “It is obviously one of the shows we talked about. It will be mixed with an original idea by Martha and Cristi (also writers for ‘Amor Bravío’), the team that has always worked with Carlos and that has produced great results.”

He currently participates in the theater play 'Departamento de Solteros' along with José Eduardo Derbez, Adriana Fonseca, Cecilia Galliano and Mark Tacher.
