Jorge Salinas and Silvia Navarro confirmed as the protagonists of “Mi corazón es tuyo”

Mexican producer Juan Osorio finally officially presented the protagonists of his upcoming telenovela “Mi corazón es tuyo”: Jorge Salinas and Silvia Navarro. Both actors attended the presentation event and revealed their excitement for this new adventure.

Salinas said that he’s thrilled with his new character, and that it will be a challenge to participate for the first time in a comic telenovela.

In this remake of the Spanish series “Ana y los siete”, he will play Fernando Lascurain, a businessman and the father of seven children, who finds love again after the death of his wife when he meets Ana Leal, who will be played by Navarro.

Osorio also said he’s very happy with this production and with the professionalism of the cast.

Both actors previously worked together as a couple in the movie “Labios Rojos”.

“Mi corazón es tuyo” will premiere in Mexico on June 23, replacing “Qué pobres tan ricos”.

“La Malquerida” holds a mass to commemorate beginning of filming

Filming for José Alberto Castro’s newest production “La Malquerida” has finally begun, and a mass was held on March 24 to commemorate the event. Victoria Ruffo, Ariadne Díaz, África Zavala, Sabine Moussier, Raquel Olmedo, Nora Salinas, Silvia Mariscal, Guillermo García Cantú, Mane de la Parra, Brandon Peniche, Fabian Robles and Ignacio López Tarso, among other cast members, attended the mass that was held in the Televisa San Ángel studios.

After months of speculation, it was confirmed that Victoria Ruffo and Ariadne Díaz will be the female protagonists of this remake. As for the male protagonist, it is almost confirmed that Christian Meier will make his debut in Televisa, taking the role that was rumored to be played by Jorge Salinas.

This upcoming novela will also have locations in Jalisco, and will premiere on the 7pm timeslot in May.
