Jacky Bracamontes will celebrate today the baptism of her daughter: check out the best photos of 'Mini Jacky'

Jacky Bracamontes and husband Martín Fuentes will celebrate today the baptism of their daughter Jacqueline, born on March 30, and whom everybody affectionately call 'Mini Jacky'. The famous couple and their gorgeous baby girl will be surrounded by many friends and family members. 'Mini Jacky' will have four godparents: Jacky’s sister and her husband and Martin’s sister and her husband.

To make sure that the event is up to her expectations, Bracamontes hired specialists in event planning: “Jaime González, who planned my wedding, and Alfonso Helfonson are great event planners and they create magic. I think the result will be great.”

Jacky also revealed a few weeks ago that she and her husband had a small argument regarding the baptism robe that their daughter will be using during the ceremony because Fuentes was against using the robe that is traditionally used by the Bracamontes family. She jokingly said: “It’s our family tobe, I want Jackita to use this one, but Martín doesn’t, because he wanted her to have a new one. So we’ll see who wins this fight.”

She also spoke about how becoming a mom changed her life: “I’m a different woman, I feel very blessed to have the opportunity of being a mother and having this angel in my life, and experiencing this miracle of being a mom is the best thing that happened in my life.”

Check out some of the best photos of the lovely baby and her loving parents:

Maite Perroni, Ximena Navarrete and África Zavala: who will be the new "María la del barrio"?

Not long after it was announced that producer Nathalie Lartilleux will be preparing a remake of the 1995 classic "María la del barrio", a list of possible candidates to play the leading role is only increasing, and Maite Perroni, Ximena Navarrete and África Zavala, three of hottest young Mexican actresses, are a few of the names that were mentioned.

Ximena Navarrete denied that she was contacted by Lartilleux, and said: “I don’t know anything! It would be very good that someone else would offer me to act in another novela, it means that they liked something, and I would appreciate it.”

Navarrete is currently focused on finishing her current and first telenovela "La Tempestad", which will end in November: “I’m super concentrated in this project because one can’t start something without finishing the previous project. I’m happy with this opportunity, it was incredible. I’ve learnt so much.”

Maite Perroni, who is currently promoting her first solo cd, said she would be delighted to act in this remake: “It’s a story that I like, I think it’s a role that always melts hearts, so I think it would be something beautiful.”

África Zavala also commented on the opportunity to play the iconic role that was played by Thalía: “It’s a beautiful role that the people always like and adore, and I had the opportunity to watch it.”

Who would you prefer as the leading lady of this remake?

Will Bárbara Mori become the new Soraya Montenegro?

After years of absence from the small screen, Bárbara Mori might return as a villain in the remake of the 1995 classic "María la del barrio". It was informed that Mori is being considered by Televisa as the villain Soraya Montenegro, originally played by Itatí Cantoral.

If the casting offer comes through, it will be Mori’s first mainstream telenovela after her iconic Rubí in 2004. Mori is currently filming her TV series “Dos Lunas”, where she plays a double role, and which she also co-produces.

Producer Nathalie Lartilleux is currently planning the project, which is expected to premiere next year. Maite Perroni, África Zavala and Ximena Navarrete have been mentioned as possible candidates for the role which was once played by Thalía.

Eiza González and Liam Hemsworth are spotted kissing passionately after their weekend in Vegas

Eiza González isn’t wasting any time after moving from Mexico to L.A a few weeks ago in order to pursue acting opportunities in America. The 23-year-old “Amores Verdaderos” star was caught up in a media frenzy after it was reported about her Vegas weekend with Australian hunk and Hunger Games star Liam Hemsworth. Both were first seen together as they partied in a VIP bungalow at XS at the Encore Resort in Las Vegas on Saturday night.

They are said to have never left each other's side during the night. They reportedly enjoyed their drinks while talking and flirting with each other in the VIP section of the club. At one point, Eiza was seen sitting on a cabinet, flashing her long and slim legs in her short orange strapless dress as Liam stayed standing, chatting to her and gazing into her eyes. According to the reports, the pair left the club together at 2am.

Just one day later it was confirmed that Hemsworth and fiancée Miley Cyrus decided to call off their engagement, and new photos evidencing a possible romance between Liam and Eiza surfaced.

According to a report on E! Online, Liam visited González at her Beverly Hills apartment complex to return some luggage. As he went to leave in his car, the twosome were photographed passionately kissing after chatting for around five minutes. Eiza was then seen smiling and waving Liam goodbye as he sped off in his SUV.

Looks like the beginning of a telenovela love story…

Miguel Varoni makes his first appearence in “Marido en Alquiler”

The distinguished actor Miguel Varoni returns to Telemundo’s screen with “Marido en Alquiler” beginning tonight at 9PM/8C. Varoni plays José Salinas, Griselda’s husband, a sly and emotionally distant man who disappeared from her life more than a decade ago. He is determined to do everything possible to win back Griselda’s love, but when he realizes this will never happen he tries to ally himself with Teresa Cristina (Maritza Rodríguez) to go after her money instead. The two will have a passionate and surprising affair in the novela.

“Marido en Alquiler,” Telemundo’s second co-production with Globo (Brazil), is full of romance, love, humor, emotion and betrayal. Starring Sonya Smith, Juan Soler and Maritza Rodriguez, this beautiful and unforgettable telenovela tells the story of Griselda (Sonya Smith), a kind and determined woman who works as a handyman to support her three children. Due to life’s circumstances, she meets Reinaldo (Soler), an honest man and chef who becomes delighted with Griselda’s essence. This will be the reason why Reinaldo’s wife, Teresa Cristina (Rodríguez), an elegant, class-conscious and superficial woman, will get jealous and will do anything possible to destroy her, especially when she realizes she is losing her husband.

Bárbara Mori presents her new series “Dos Lunas”

Bárbara Mori looked happy and radiant during the presentation of her newest series “Dos Lunas” this Thursday. The Project, which is also co-produced by Mori, will premiere on October 12 in Mexico on Mundo Fox channel.

She was accompanied by the rest of the cast and her co-producer Epigmenio Ibarra, of Argos TV, whom she thanked for all the support he gave her in order to realize this interesting project.

Mori also showed her maternal side while talking about the experience of working with children. She smiled and spoke about the participation of Ana Paula, one of the child actors who acts in the series: “Working with children is the most beautiful thing in the world. Right, Ana Paula? Especially with you. This girl here is not only very pretty, but also a wonderful actress. She’s very professional, does well her job, she’s an angel that illuminates the set every time she arrives. She even brings us chocolates and always shows us a lot of affection.”

In “Dos Lunas” Mori will play two characters. Sol and Luna are two sisters with opposed personalities that are as different as their names (meaning Sun and Moon) suggest.

Talking about the two characters, Mori said that she thinks that both reflect sides of her personality: “We all have this internal fight within us. There’s one part that wants to go wild and other that is correct and educated. I think that the series deals with it. Son is very similar to me, and Luna too. They’re absolutely different: Sol is the day, and the other is the night. One is sanity, she’s a psychologist, and very correct. The other is completely crazy, she stops at nothing. I think that these two sides exist within me.”
