Marcela Kloosterboer to extend her participation in ‘Vecinos en Guerra’

The new series ‘Vecinos en Guerra’ is doing very well in Argentina, and one of the characters that attracted the public’s attention is Carolina, played by Marcela Kloosterboer. Carolina’s crazy antics definitely gained the love of the public, and especially the support of the teenagers. She recently had a very polemic and entertaining scene where she seduces Rafa (Diego Torres), who is married to Mecha (Eleonora Wexler).

Although Marcela was only supposed to stay in the series for a short time, due to her character’s success, she was asked by the show’s producers to extend her participation in this comic series. This means that we will probably get to see her doing even crazier stuff in the future. ‘Vecinos en Guerra’ is aired on Monday to Thursday on 9:30pm on Telefe.

Carolina Dieckmann to play a wife who becomes the prisoner of her husband in ‘Joia Rara’

After portraying Jessica, a woman who becomes a victim of human trafficking in ‘Salve Jorge’, Carolina Dieckmann will soon play again a very controversial character. Her next series will be the upcoming 6pm novela ‘Joia Rara’, where she will personify Iolanda, a woman who has to suffer a great deal as she becomes the prisoner of her violent husband. Although she is in love with Mundo, played by Domingos Montagner, she will have to marry an older and dangerous man named Ernest, played by José de Abreu, because of her father’s debts. She will not only be constantly humiliated by her husband, but she’ll also have to suffer because of the tyranny of Frau Gertrude, played by Zezé Polessa, who is the evil housekeeper of the house.

‘Joia Rara’ will be written by Duca Rachid and Thelma Guedes and directed by Amora Mautner. It is expected to premiere in September on Globo.

Telemundo’s stars shine at the 2013 Billboard Latin Music Awards

Some of the biggest stars in Latin music came together on April 25 for one of the most important award shows of the year. The award show was held in Miami, and hosted by Ana Bárbara, Juan Soler & Daniel Sarcos. As it was aired on Telemundo, we could also enjoy the presence of many of the hottest stars of Telemundo, who looked spectacular while walking down the red carpet.

Maritza Rodríguez stunned everybody with a flattering navy blue dress by Rafael Cennamo and a green clutch. Juan Soler, who will play her husband in her upcoming novela “Marido en Alquiler”, and was also one of the show’s hosts, came with his wife Maki, who said that her daughter told her that she looked like a princess in her Rosita Hurtado dress.

Gaby Espino attended the show with her stylist, since Jencarlos Canela was busy filming "Pasión Prohibida". She looked stunning in a white Johnny Estracha gown.

Adamari López wore a beautiful yellow dress by Gustavo Arango. Ana Layevska and Daniela Navarro wore gorgeous red dresses, while Ximena Duque chose a pink one. Kimberly Dos Ramos looked elegant and young in her floral Carolina Herrera gown. Other of our favorite stars who posed on the red carpet included: Litzy, Gabriel Coronel, Cynthia Olavarría, Rebecca Jones and many more.
